I find this thread's lack of Kathy Griffin disturbing. She makes Sarah Silverman look funny, IMO.fidosim
Sarah Silverman is atleast nice to look at.

Plus her awkward weird meanness is amusing on occasion. Which is why she beats Kathy Griffin.

Hahaha, very true! I can't stand Sarah Silverman, but she's a comedic genius next to Kathy Griffin.

Of coarse you don't. No one does.

smc91352

his stand up im not fond of, but the tv show he had (russel brands ponderland?) was quite good...i think if you sieve through his act you can find some funny stuff

he has a show?

If its shown in the US its probably on MTV (and I don't watch MTV)...

Why would they give that (man?) a show?

 if you ever see it on give it a try, i didnt think much of him but the show was a laugh...its not just stand up, its him talking about video clips and some of its quite good. but i do understand how loads of people cant stand him, i myself am only just able to listen to him for the few good jokes he comes out with.

Harry Hill. I don't get him, his jokes seem to just pass by and I don't realise someones just cracked a funny, if it's a funny at all, I don't know, I don't get it.

im going to have to say that, perhaps just because im british, i dont find american stand ups that funny...there are a few that ive seen that are quite good, but there are a load ive seen that i just cant laugh at...maybe its just the difference in cultures.

Check out Louis CK, Dimitri Martin, and Mitch Hedberg. Some of the best comedy out there from this side of the waters. (It's hard for me to get into some British standup, but I absolutely adore British comedy writing. Douglas Adams is my hero)

I'm sorry but we have to lump Mitch Hedberg in with the Calros Mencias and Dane Cooks of comedy as being overhyped trash that are famous for stealing other comedian's bits/personalities. If you have never heard of Steven Wright I suggest you look him up. Mitch Hedberg is the lame stoner's excuse for Steven Wright. And on top of which his voice is so damn annoying... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
