who's the bigger kid at heart?

EDIT: the only reason I'm asking is because i saw a striking image today at the movie theaters both as i was coming into and then leaving transformers there was a HUGE line of people to see Harry Potter **in IMAX 3D** and the MAJORITY of the line was adults...

I'd say adults, beczuse adults can actually appreciate that the Harry Potter movies are generally very well-made. Not kids though. Kids don't know crap. Kids just watch sparks shoot out of Harry Potter's magic stick and say "Wow, COOL!!"

I actually love the Harry Potter movies. I don't think there was a single one that I didn't like. They're just damn fine pop-entertainment. They are finely crafted, well written movies that are also well-direccted and often well-acted. The storyline is also interesting in a Star Wars kind of way, and I eagerly anticipate each new Harry Potter movie.

i agree 100% i like harry potter, and i'm not ashamed to admit it. my dad is obsessed with harry potter (he likes a lot more than i do), so that's another reason why i'd say adults like it more.

Probably adults. I have a feeling most kids read/see em just because

1) They like the magic and fighting etc.

2) It's popular.

Kids probably don't understand it as well and adults can just appriciate it more than kids.

Adults like them more because kids don't what going on in the story. Also, books>movies. Order of the Phoenix was a way better book than movie. When I saw it there was pretty much nothing but teens and adults. There were very few children in there. Now all we need is a film adaptation of 'The Alphabet of Manliness'....

Going to the last book opening myself on that friday night at 12:00 I saw that the vast majority were adults. That may be to the fact that a parent isn't as likely to stand out there to get the book when they can pick it up the next day for their kids... but who knows.

If that's the case, then they aren't kids.
