1. Alabama

2. Texas Tech

3. Florida

4. Texas

5. Oklahoma

6. USC

7. Penn State

8. Utah

9. Boise State

10. Ohio State

11. Oklahoma State

12. Missouri

13. Georgia

14. Ball State

15. TCU

16. BYU

17. North Carolina

18. Michigan State

19. LSU

20. Florida State

21. Pittsburgh

22. Cincinnati

23. Oregon State

24. South Carolina

25. Tulsa

These are the current AP Top 25 teams. Who do you think deserves to play for the Title?

I'd really like to see a Texas Tech vs. Florida match-up. That'd be interesting. Although, if by some longshot miracle Oklahoma State can make it in then I'll be ecstatic.

As long as a non-traditional football powerhouse team makes it, I'll be happy. I go to Ohio State, but we don't have a chance of getting there this year.

I'm not sure why you'd want Ohio State seeing as how they got stomped back-to-back years by SEC teams. If Tech can make it passed OU, then it will be Tech vs. Alabama or Florida. And Tech will probably lose that game. By the way, you should post this in the Sports Discussion forums. ;)

I'm a pennstate fan so I'd love to see them in the National Championship, but after the loss to Iowa yesterday I don't think it's a possibility anymore

Florida vs. doesn't matter. Go Gators:D Playing against the Big 12 Champion would be entertaining though.

I'd love to see Texas Tech in the BCS title game, but due to the fluxuation in rankings this year, it's hard to say they are going to make it.

Texas Tech, to get to the BCS title game, would need to beat Oklahoma in Norman and then win the Big 12 Championship against the Big 12 North Division leader, who at this point is Missouri.

I'm not even sure if Alabama can make it to the BCS Championship either, they would still have to beat a redhot Florida (SEC East leader at the moment) in the SEC Championship.

All I know, it's going to be a very exciting month of November in college football.

I'm pretty sure it will be SEC Champion vs. Big 12 Champion. Its just a very good thing that if that scenario plays out, both teams had to go through hell and theres no question on earning a spot in the Title.

I'm just glad to see North Carolina back in the rankings :)

I'd enjoy watching Florida and Texas Tech go at it though

It will most likely be those two conferences since they have been the strongest this year. I was just on CBS Sportsline and they have Oklahoma vs Florida for the National Championship, which fits into the scenario.

They have the other 4 bowls predicted as well.

  • Fiesta Bowl: Texas Tech vs Ohio State
  • Orange Bowl: North Carolina vs Pittsburgh
  • Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs Utah
  • Rose Bowl: USC vs Penn State

I was hoping Penn State would win the national championship, but it looks like that isn't going to happen.

Where looking at an SEC Champion vs Big12 champion as pretty much the inevitabilty. However if Mizzou somehows ends up with a big upset in the Big12 championship, it will be SEC Champion (who I predict will be Florida) vs USC (if they winnout, and they should).

My predicition is Texas vs. Florida

I'd prefer to see Texas or Oklahoma somewhere in there, they both have good chances if they don't mess anything up... this year I'm kind of dumbfounded no team has yet stopped Texas Tech.

Texas Tech vs. Penn State would have been cool, but Penn St. isn't likely to make it now.
