Who Else Dislikes Anime

Peoples here are so annoying with their false views of anime. Their opinions are limited to really stupid and commercial shows. How many of you actually watch these anime?

I don't have to ask the question to answer it properly, almost nobody.

Peoples here are so annoying with their false views of anime. Their opinions are limited to really stupid and commercial shows. How many of you actually watch these anime?Redgarl

People are just ignorant like that. Best to ignore them because they won't change.

Rose of Versailles (Lady Oscar) actually brought a new view on Marie Antoinette for me. I am now digging many books by Alexandre Dumas since I saw Rose of Versailles. The story was so much well written that I actually thought it was an actual novel by Dumas himself.

Gankutsuou and Under the sign of the Musketeers are brillant adaptation of Dumas novels that surpass every movies and TV series I have seen to date.

I also hate things like Naruto, pokemons and other trashes like those, but they don't represent anime at all.

It's pretty ignorant to disregard a ton of shows just because they're Japanese.

Its pretty funny if all you've watched is commercial shows like naruto, dragonball, etc an call anime bad, it just proves that you have no honest opinion if they are the standard you judge actual anime by in the end.

Those shows maybe anime but they are incredibly bad ones by any anime fans standards.

To me, its just a waste of time to watch in some cases. Whats so cool about dressing up as a cartoon character, I just don't get people and there world of Anime.Black-Fight

I dont hate anime, I just hate white kids who watch anime and think they're asian and correct you if you say a characters name wrong. Or better yet, I hate the kids that hate american DUBs. everytime someone complains about an American DUB I want to punch them in the face...Most animes are cool, dont let the super freaks scare you.

Hellsing Ultimate is ridiculously awesome.
Everyone is insane, and there is no shining knight.

Alucard is just as twisted and warped as everyone else. Even the priests in the series would impale a person on a pike at the slightest provocation.

Not to mention the creator's hentai background occasionally...getting in there...to make some of the kills a little more awesome.

To be fair, a lot of English dubs are just flat out atrocious. There's some damn good ones out there, but a lot of them are terrible from what I've seen.

Hellsing is really cool, havent seen the anime but my girlfriend reads the manga every now and then. Some interesting stuff. I still think Spike is the biggest badass when it comes to anime characters and the show itself is one of my favorites of all time. It re opened my love for jazz music :D

Well, yeah, but some shows that I thought were pretty good got less than favorable dubs. I mean, it's all about personal taste on this one, but I usually prefer subs to dubs. Though if it's a good dub, I'll easily pick that over subs.

Well, yeah, but some shows that I thought were pretty good got less than favorable dubs. I mean, it's all about personal taste on this one, but I usually prefer subs to dubs. Though if it's a good dub, I'll easily pick that over subs.

I used to like animes like Case Closed and Inuyasha, but I just sorta grew out of them I guess. I lost interest by the age of 15.Shiggums

And I think those who watch dbz or naruto only and say ALL anime sucks should not be allowed to give their opinion because there is so much more out there.

He forgot to add the part where Yugi regularly made a habit of crushing people's minds, sometimes leaving them soulless shells of their former selves, akin to murder.

That being said, there's also the frequent recurring element where teenagers regularly wager their souls over a card game, determined to either win or spend eternity in a black, endless void of monstrous evil.

Anyone who makes the act of shoving a musket through a woman's chest and then sucking her blood an arousing sight is the biggest badass ever, not to mention the "elevator action hotel gunfight" scene, which you'd just have to see to believe.

I like anime alot ghost in the shell hellsing fooly cooly Black Lagoon Death note Code gease these are my faves but I understand that alot of people just dont like it.

imo anime is better than cartoons cause animes actually have a story that you need to follow unlike cartoons that are most of the time individual episodeschinygurl

thats what sucks IMO...because you cant get into it late in the series without going "WTF is going on?" that and most(not all) stories in animes are really weak and generic and the animation is very lazy.
