Same thing happens to me. I have it at 68 at night and I still feel hot when I got to bed. It gets me in the moring though and I rush to the shower to warm myself up.

i used to have night sweats last year during the winter. It sucks ass. You wake up in the middle of the night almost drenched in your own sweat and at the same time my body felt frozen..
I still experience these like at least twice every 2 weeks. I really wish i could do something to make my night sweats stop..

I'm going to make a guess because I'm too lazy to look it up. I'm thinking that our bodies get hotter so that we can sleep better. If we slept in a colder enviroment (or our bodies get cold), it would be more difficult to sleep, but if we had to wake up, our bodies get colder.
That's my guess.
