Who has it easier in developed countries, men or women?

Both have their benefits and their negatives.

Men but only slightly these days. The thing is whilst women may be disadvantaged in a lot of areas it's balanced out by the expectations, it doesn't really matter that women tend to be paid less when the majority of the time they're not the main earner in the family ect.

Though I think women cause a lot of these disadvantages themselves...

Trying to generalize the life of all men or all women in an attempt to decide which gender has it easier seems completely pointless to me.

The fact of the matter is each man has a different life and different situations from other men, and women have a different life and different situations from other woman. Some women have easier lives than some men, some men have easier lives than some women.

if you mean in business world right now? i'd say for the most part men.

if you mean in k-12 education and a lot of universities, i'd say it's about even with a bit a tilt in favor of women.

if you mean in life - as of right now - that is entirely too subjective and depends on the goals of that person.

That depends.Matriarchal societies still exist in some places.

While an avarage man have a bit of an advantage over an avarage woman, a beautiful woman willing to use her image has it easier than anyone else.

I'm going to risk giving a serious answer in this topic.

It really depends what you mean by easier. For instance it seems to still be easier for a man to get a high profile or successful high paying job. On the flip side though, it could be argued that women have it easier in society. They have doors opened, dinners paid etc.

And just to illustrate my point on a very small scale, kids at my high school pull pranks on freshmen, (I was just looking through some pics on facebook today and amusing myself) but I have yet to ever see one of these pranks pulled on a girl. Again, though men have it easier when it comes to jobs and garnering respect. So to sum things up in the professional world, men have it easier, but in social circles it isn't uncommon for women to have an easier time of it.

The majority of prositutes are not high class call-girl escorts, so your logic is flawed. They're poor women subsisting on low wages from prostitution and are often infected w/ stds and doped up on drugs while some sort of man or pimp in their life forces them to continue their work.
