Who has the right of way here?

Who has the right of way in this situation here?

All cars are coming at the same time. I'm not sure if this is right but this is how I think it is right: Car 2 can go through the intersection while car 1 makes a right turn out of the parking lot, then car 3 can turn left after car 2 passes and then car 4 can turn left after waiting at the stop sign for car 3 to make its left turn correct?

If not then someone should take away my driver liscence.

You are correct. The person on the right is the one with the right of way.

I would just wait and let everyone else go first, no sense in getting in an accident because I didnt remember who's suppose to go first.DarknessLion

Car 2 goes first, then car 1, followed by car 3, then car 4. OR Car 1 and 4 can go at the same time as long as 4 doesn't rearend 1. Car 2 must go first because he is already traveling.cpo335

Yeah, car 4 definitely doesn't have the right of way there. Car 4 needs to wait for car 3, at least according to traffic laws which are in place specifically to prevent things like that.

It's actually not a bad mentality to have - they tell you (at least in my driver's ed class) that if taking your right of way has a serious chance of making you get into an accident, it's probably a better idea not to do so, even if the other person technically doesn't have the right of way.

Of course, that doesn't mean you should actively cede your right of way to everyone - that would mean you would never ever get out of your driveway.
