All the time. I only buy electronics from reasonably reputable online stores, though. Ebay is reserved for games and movies and other assorted things.DJ_Lae
^ This. When I do buy stuff online I make sure to use AmEx credit card, they are usually very good with stopping payments if you have a problem with the item and the seller's not cooperating
Another plus is you might not have to pay tax on the item you purchase, which is good if you are buying something expensive such as TV, video game consoles, etc...

I knew about this YEARS ago. I'm 19,and when I was 10 (year 2000), It didn't occur to me to get my PS2 online, I was thinking about other things! Give me a friggin break man!
Novelty... I just started doing it, and I was just curious as to how many people in the Gamespot Community have bought things online.
Realizing that I can get CD's cheaper and that they're better quality sound than iTunes music, I buy most of my CD's from Amazon. Thus far I have little to complain about. I have to wait a few days, but I can get a typical CD for 5$. And the quality of the music is obviously better than a download.
I'm about to buy a 300$ TV. We'll see how that pans out.
I've bought a few games online before. Though I particularilly remember buying Fire Emblem 7 online, and then when I got the game it wouldn't save! If I wanted to beat the game, I would have had to go through the whole game without stopping and without saving. :x
I usually like to go the old-fashioned route and just go to a store and buy whatever I want there.
I buy swords and knives online because it offers a much larger selection than your average store so you can get exactly what you want.
other than that, i dont shop much online
