POLL CONTAINS SPOILERS TO BAD MOVIES...SRY...(and if you ahvent seen gladiator by now OMG) He might be the worst actor the world has ever seen, that has been able to land huge movie roles. Has anyone here actually watched Ladder 49 and Buffulo soldiers...its like hes asleep when he acts, and he is teh reason I haven't went to see We Own the Night yet.
I'm watching The Village right now. He's not bad as far as actors go. Walk the Line was great and I actually enjoyed Signs. He was great in Gladiator too.
I love him. Besides, his last name is a mythical creature. You can't beat that. Imagine if he was called Joaquin Williams. He wouldn't get any respect. But Joaquin Phoenix, now that is an awesome name that demands respect.

yea..he is really good in that movie...he is honestly insane so it works well...but every single one of his otehr movies are disgraceful
