I think T.V. of today is just bad.I'm more into shows like All In The Family,Cheers,Night Court,Bizzar, and years back of Saturday morning cartoons back in the early 1980's,70's.That's just to name a few.So who agrees with me. Old t.v. or new t.v. if you had to pick.

Considering I grew up with no cable and about 10 channels, I am a HUGE fan of TV today.
I'm at a loss with tv today. So much is riddled with stupid sex scenes or relationship issues (mainly everyone cheating on one another) that I can't bear to watch. I feel like they're trying to brainwash me into believing that sleeping with everyone is good and if you aren't a vapid airhead with a life full of meaningless relationships and drama, you're not worth much. And it's all the same. Even Nick at Nite is starting to aggravate me. But I'm really just a cranky old lady inside.
Off to watch Are You Being Served?
I noticed that when I was in elementary/middleschool I would always watch Three's Company, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, Lassie, etc., as equally as I watched cartoons(mostly nickelodeon). I still love Tom And Jerry, as well as Scooby-Doo(60's, 70's), but those aren't really on tv anymore. As I got older, I mostly watched cartoons, but not too much. Now I really don't watch anything on tv other than any of the Law & Order series and maybe once in a very rare while, the History channel(crap now) and Spongebob. So when I was younger(in the 90's), I enjoyed old tv more than new.
Why can't tv be online? :P
Not me, shows like Bones, House, Dark Blue, Burn Notice, etc. are all awesome, I'd take them over older shows anyday. Darth-Caedusadd psych, dexter and nurse jackie to that list :P and I'm set.
Oh good Lord no I couldn't disagree more! Although filtered through nostalgic feelings some older series can appear charming to me, having grown up in the '70s/'80s I can rarely bring myself to endure the types of shows that I watched back then. TV right now is better than it ever has been especially once the cable channels starting creating the types of shows that people always wanted to make but couldn't due to the restrictions of the big three networks.
