I ask this, because someone called my Jewish friend a liar, when he told him what the term Sephiroth REALLY means.
Because it darn sure isn't just the name of a videogame character.
The original meaning of the name Sephiroth comes from Judaism, and is the ten attributes that God created through which he can manifest in the physical and metaphysical universe.
It is not, originally, the name of an overated long-haired bishi with a sword that is clearly compensating for something.
Anyone else have anything similar to this? Words that seem to have lost their original meanings to pop-culture?
