I love 90's hip hop. Not so much anymore. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake need to leave the game, and then maybe I'll like it again.

I don't like it, but glad you do because a lot of people aren't satisfied with anything in this world and complain about nearly everything.

I've heard this cat before, he's pretty fly. People who say hip-hop is dead just aren't looking for it hard enough.

hes got good lyrics but the beats aren't so great. plus its a bit too emo for hip hop. the only way to talk about emotions in a rap song is to make sure it sounds ghetto at the same time. you should check out some of the black and yellow remixes. youll see a ton of underground rappers. or you can check me out on youtube when theyre out in a few weeks, haha.

why does a rapper have to be "ghetto" when talking about emotions? Whats wrong with being real to yourself? Most people have emotions and not everyone in the hood is depressed because there lights are out or they shot somebody.

Hip Hop! Yuck, that crappy fake music $h!ts me. Whenever I listen to some fool sing about how rich he is it makes me want to puke. The only respecatable Hip hop artist is Eminem 'cause he actually sings about real things. And then he isn't even any good.

I'm assuming you didn't click on the link.
Its a man rapping about his girlfriend dying and how it hurt him.
Eminem talks about real things about as often as the average MC.
Most of the time hes talking about killing his wife or mom.
I would rather listen to someone brag about being rich than that crap.

I'm not a racist. Eminem is quite honestly the only Hip Hop musician I have any respect for. And that's not even much respect. You hip hop fan boys should listen to this. It's much better. (Skip to 1:30 btw)

No one said your a racist, but sense you brought it up its now obvious. Also whats obvious is that Eminem and Gucci Mane are probably the only rappers you listened to. We also all know that you didn't listen to the song that the topic was about. You didn't click that link, so you didn't earn the respect for us to click your link. Troll.

Screw you, Hip Hop is great, and thats just how it is! But I will agree that rock has better lyrics. stuck in an every day struggle, but only mine is hourly jungle filled with wolves and a few lions that are cowardly used to make it hot, but thats too mild for me school of hard knocks, made the teacher proud of me depression starts talking and his voice is raspy because he hasnt shut the f*** up in 3 and a half weeks ^^^No rapper has ever said lyrics on that level before.

Been listening to Neako. He has some mixtapes out for free floating in the internet if anyone's interested. He's got some crazy beats that he raps on. I also have been listening to alot of J-Cole, ODB, GZA, and some old Guru. I love hip-hop. Just got to filter out the crappy artists that exist in EVERY genre. And to the typical "eminem is the greatest" I like Eminem and regard him as one of the great MCs, but there is so much more out there. I'm starting to feel sorry that your missing out on it.

I grew up listenin to hiphop/rap my whole life so i've heard alot of good mc's in nearly 37yrs but there's one name that everyone needs to check X Raided, one of the realest mc's in rap ever.

H'e beein jail for a very long time now and his lyrics have grown with him whilst most other rappers are talkin about how big their chain is or how hoe's they did X talks about real life and his own personal thoughts from the perspective of an incarcerated man since age 17.

I have a huge respect and would urge anyone who considers themselves a fan of rap to check his music out.

I love hip hop and always have. I've always loved all the ignorant comments that pop up anytime hip hop/rap are mentioned. It's also humerous that half those people listen to that screaming rock BS, yet have the nerve to call rap unlistenable. Different strokes I guess.

Anyways, I'm loving the new Kanye and Kid Cudi albums. I'm actually listening to NAS "Illmatic", quite possibly the best hip hop album in history.

ever since hip-hop was born, its been big. trends dont usually last for 40 or so years. however metal was only big around woodstock. for five years it peaked. thats what a trend is.
