I had a few friends in high school, but I severed my ties w/ them. Im in college and have no friends yet, however, I'm meeting someone (a female :o ) on the first day of school

I'm not afraid to admit it, I know it could have been different, there are so many variables I just don't care anymore. College FTW.

Having no friends is better than having any amount of bad friends.

all the people is into hip hop punk fashion and all the "cool" things...

so ive got few friends and were just the kind of losers ppl wont talk to cuz of wat fear? think were dumb for bein metal dudes? ahh comon i think everyone is a loser to somebody... to me i am a winner and so are my friends and the ppl tht respect.

Hell no, I'm not ashamed to admit it. I have no friends. Unless we're counting immediatefamily, but I'm assuming that for the sake of this discussion, we're counting them as "family" rather than "friends".

But even in that case, it's not like I hang out with them or anything. We really don't talk much, and when we get together, I feel sort of awkward.

But hell noi, I don't have any friends. And that doesn't embarass me in the least. Hell, I once heard Chris Rock doing a show where he was saying that he only had about 3 friends and that he ****ing hated all these jackasses who were pretending to be his friends. And he's Chris freaking Rock.

Keep in mind that there's a HUGE difference between people who you hang out with, and your "friends". Let's make that very clear.

I've been in a world of **** for a while. And youknow, it's EASY to meet people. It's EASY to hang out with people and talk and laugh about stupid meaningless ****. And while I'm sure this doesn't apply to many of you, I'm also 100% sure that many of you have no freaking idea how quick those same "friends" are going to ditch your ass as soon as things get difficult for you and your friendship becomes "unfun" for them.

And in retrospect, I'm willing to bet that a hell of a lot of you "dumped" "friends" for precisely that reason. I know I have.

But anyway, no I don't have any friends. Not one. And I am not the least bit ashamed to admit it.

Loser is a bad word. I never understood how a guy who drinks all day and pays hookers can be considered a loser and the guy who doesn't have friends is the same.

I like staying home more than going outside. I love being anti-social. I like working on ameteur web design and have a few friends. If that makes me a loser, be it. I'm happy this way, or maybe I just think I am b/c I possibly can't do better. Who cares...

1st day at the High School. 5 new friends for me :| None of my old friends are going to this school that I'm going to.. so what do I do? Find some people and just start talking to them. It'll go from there...
