Rush saying he WANTS OBAMA TO FAIL shows obvious news troll.

plus, try youtube user "liberalviewer" to see some fox news lying. ***And he uses the word liberal in a different meaning than our assumption of extreme-left democrat.***

I think they are all equally biased, just in different directions and spectrums. Plus when you watch the news they tell you, there is no thought you just absorb. So I choose to read the newspaper. I know its old school, but I prefer it, I can follow the storys i want ,but unlike the TV media were you do not always know where the bias begins or ends in the story,in the newspaper even with the most biased journalism it is a lot easier to read through and filter the bias out.

All of them.

Fox is just targeted the most because they are right wing.

swazidoughman

He speaks the truth!!! Most people here are gonna say Fox News because of it's conservative curve. For some reason, people don't mind a ridiculously left-biased network like MSNBC, but they can't handle a network like Fox News that, in my opinion, is only slightly more conservative than liberal. It's sickening.

It's between Fox News and MSNBC, but I have to give it to MSNBC. Their whole nightly line-up is full of total douche bags. I just can't stand Chris "get a thrill up my leg" Matthews, Keith, The Queef, Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow, who could pass as Olbermann's son. I mean Olbermann and Matthews were thrown off campaign coverage during the Rep National Convention for goodness sakes because they couldn't hide their bias.

Hear is another quote from Chris Matthews about Obama besides his now infamous get a thrill up my leg. "If you're actually in the room when he gives one of his speeches, and you don't cry, you're not an American." I mean seriously.

But like I said, Fox News isn't much better, but I like watching them more because their anchor women are beautiful, with the exception of Greta. Sorry Greta! But Megyn Kelly, Martha Maccallum, and Julie Banderas are smokin!!!

[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="remmbermytitans"]MSNBC. Why? Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow are SO far left, that I wonder if they haven't crossed that line into socialism. Fox News is also biased, but not as far as MSNBC is. And I can't believe that the poll is showing that FOX is more biased than MSNBC.remmbermytitans
Political commentators do not represent the opinion of the network that they work for.

If it's MSNBC then yes they do.

Not really. MSNBC's morning show is very conservative, does that mean that MSNBC is conservative as well? Yes MSNBC's prime time line up is incredibly liberal, but their prime time line up doesn't feature any news programs. If you want to accuse MSNBC of a liberal bias you have to base your claim on MSNBC's actual news programs.

[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]Everything is biased in some way, but seeing as you say the MOST biased i'd have to agree with Fox News. They have an agenda to push, not news to report, and the people they have to speak or comment are all of one political persuasion, not to mention that horrible blond woman they have on who they continue to give air time to despite the fact that she's a bigot and a racist.Link256

Which Blond Woman? MANY of the female host on that channel our blonds.

He's probably referring to Ann Coulter.

The problem is that the US doesn't really have news anymore. It used to be that in order to get a broadcasting licence, a station had to devote part of its programming each day towards the public good. Most stations opted for news to fill the gap. News was never about making profit, it was just the cost of doing business in order to operate a radio or TV station. It did end up becomign a point of pride within the industry to have what was considered to be thorough, unbiassed and factual reportage. News reporters were held to certain journalistic standards and a station could get into serious trouble if those standards were violated.

All that ended when Clinton signed the Telecommunications Act and basically deregulated the industry. News now became part of the entertainment package and it had to sell. Investigative reporters were fired and replaced with talking heads. Serious, in-depth studies of complex issues were replaced with car chases, Hollywood gossip, and News of the Weird stories all designed to appeal to the lizard brain in people. It has to be kept short, simple and titilatitng or shocking in order to keep the attention of the idiot masses.

Instead of investigative journalism and field reporters, we get "experts" who sit in a room with other "experts" and pontificate or get into screaming matches. Blood, T&A, and hyperbolic rhetoric long on solipsism and short on content is what sells.

Fow News, with MSNBC as a pretty close 2nd. Olberman has some good points, though it seems that he always just points out the bad to whatever he's hating this episode while very little/none of the good. While Bill O'Reilly is one of the most of the...it just amazes me what he does and thinks. I think a good example would be was that Bill found out that Countdown with Keith Olberman was getting better ratings then then his show, so he actually said that Democrats were somehow fixing the the ratings results in MSNBCs favor.

MSNBC and FOX are both really bad. I only picked Fox because they tend to have more outlandish examples of their right-wing tendencies. Does anyone else remember that 'terrorist fist bump' piece they did? Olbermann is practically a mirror image of Bill O'Reilly, in that both of them are screaming idiots. I prefer to view both channels through the Daily Show filter.

To be entirely truthful I just get my news from the internet, it's more likely to be relevant and/or factual than televised news.

It's not fair to look at the pundit shows, like Olberman and O'Reilly. Of course those are going to be biased. When you look at the actual news reporting, Fox is more balanced than CNN, and MSNBC is still liberal propaganda.

Fox News should really be looked at in two catagories: news and journalism.

On the news from, Fox News is probably the least biased among all the channels. They report fairly. However, when it comes to journalism, they are heavily biased. Hannity really is a disgrace to conservatives. Bill O'reilly isn't that bad though, and I enjoy hearing what he has to say.

So overall I'd say MSNBC.

I would say that MSNBC has just as much of a liberal bias as Fox News has a conservative one. But it seems like every network is pushing an agenda these days (the era of objectivity would appear to be dead).

Fox is really ridiculous, I remember when they were discussing about the latest Nas album (the one that was supposed to be called the n word), they nitpicked pieces of his songs that had something to do with guns and violence just to prove a point, when actually, the songs isn't all about guns at all, it just uses guns as a metaphor. There was only one person who actually seemed resonable and the anchorpersons constantly interrupts them. The whole thing either kept me laughing or made me shake my head in disgust of how ignorant the whole thing is.

I was talking with a very liberal friend of mine, and even he commented on how ridiculous MSNBC is. His quote "Yeah Fox is very biased...but MSNBC is just downright mean sometimes." Olbermann is so pompous too. So Fox and MSNBC, but MSNBC moreso. Besides, Fox has Glenn Beck, and anyman thats willing to give Libertarian's facetime is alright with me.

All are biased. My local newspaper is the most liberal thing I have ever read in my life; Fox is conservative; MSNBC is Obama territory. The trick is to listen to all of them, pick out the true facts, and make an educated opinion.

That said, I think Fox is the most balanced.

I don't really watch MSNBC, but FOX is pretty biased. I still watch it everyday though, it is enjoyable at least.
