I'm 14, around 5'6''. Here are the MAX weights I did during the school year:
All at 5 reps
Bench: 135
Squat: 250
Power Clean: 140 I think?
But now in football summer workouts, I'm not doing that much weight. I'm gradually adding a little more each time so that I can eventually lift more than my maxes from last year.
dude thats the worest topic to post on a video game site most of the people on here are fat loosersZelda_ManiacI don't think you could be more wrong. You even spelt "losers" wrong too. Tut tut. :P
[QUOTE="Manly-manly-man"]Who here lifts weights? I just started, and so far I pretty much suck. I am 14, 5'8, and weight about 240, and here is how much I can lift:

240 pounds? you should be doing more aerobic exercises not weightlifting.
Yes you NEED to be running regardless of your weight. Do you play football? If so and your a lineman you need to runAND lift. If your just trying to look good and get a little cut then lose some weight first bro or you'll just look bigger and no one will even notice or know about the muscle.
Anyways im 19 and lift 4/5 days a week rotating weeks. I add in the running and plyos to help with the agilty/speed factors.
I take protein almost every night and take Creatine EVERY DAY.
When you old enough....CREATINE does NO HARM. Its proven. WORST possible case is if you dont drink enough water. You'll get kidney stones since Creatine essentially just makes your muscles absorb more water.
I do run and lift, and no, I am not trying to get more lean. I don't care if people notice the muscle, because I don't care about random people I don't know, and anyone I do know will know how much I can lift. And yes, once again, I do run. Usually a mile or so thrice a week at a jogging pace. Manly-manly-man
You play sports or planning on it?
Also, I will eventually start going to lifting meets and such, but not yet. Not strong enough yet, 215lbs at 14 isn't really that good.Manly-manly-man
You could probably lift more than alot of people your age. I'm 15, 5'6 and 125 lbs and at first only benched 115, but at the end of the year went up to benching 170. So in a few months if you keep up your routine you should bench more than your weight.
yeah, i lift every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at my school's weightroom for football. i'm 16, 5'7'', around 137lbs. not very big but oh well. Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard. - a little quote that's hanging up in our weightroom.
max bench around.... 175lbs
max squat around 290lb
as long as i'm lifting over my own body weight, im fine with it. what i lose in size, i make up in speed/quickness. :D

I just started working out maybe 1-2 months ago, but I didn't have a plan or schedule or anything, so I am going to start again with a better plan and hopefully get a bit stronger.

You know what?
You shouldn't be working out at the age of 14 !
Because most of the proteins and nutritions will go into building your musles instead of growing.
As we all know, growing stops at 21.
So it would be wiser to workout later in life.
p.s. i am not just talking about growing heights, but also the brain and everything else.
Oh stop with that bull crap, i lifted weights when i was 13 and up and i ended up being fine. He can do what he wants.Lifting isn't fun and I don't care how big my muscles are; at least they are existant... if you really want to be more fit / buff, you should do a lot of fun physical stuff. Someone I know lived and worked at a farm somewhere in Europe for a summer and came back about 2 times as buff.
Weight lifting ftl. Do you really care THAT much about it to want to repeatedley lift metal objects?
