I want to spend the night at your house and just pick out movies from your DVD collection. It must be magical to be one of your friends. :P

scream bloody gore by death? haha :P

i didn't see the movie, but from the previews, i thought it would probably have a few funny moments, but the rest of the movie would just be meh.

If you like painfully bad gross jokes that involve feces and occasional pointless racial comments then yes. I however thought it was crap.

Pretty much every criticism you listed is why I didn't see it. I don't know why they fell the need to give every British comedy the Three Stooges treatment when they remake it in the US. I'd much rather watch the original again.

The remake could have been good actually. Neil Labute used to be a good director and the cast is good but the movie turned out to be crap in the end.

I did not expect anything from the remake, I knew it would take away all clever and dark comedy from the original and add a bunch of vulgar and racy unfunny jokes to appeal more to west.

Did he? I could see why Ebert would prefer this, looking at some of his reviews and taste but I do not agree with Ebert all the time.

I love the original.

It was clear from the trailer of the remake that it will be pretty bad.

I thought the original was really funny, but I have no plans to see this. Why didn't they just release the original in the U.S. instead of remaking a three year old movie?

Its funny the remake seems to think that racy and vulgar means funny. The long poop joke with Danny Glover, and Tracy Morgan is one of the most painfully unfunny scenes I have watched in ages.

Oh understand what he's saying. He just always present himself in an odd mannerism. I also enjoy TM (he's the third reason I enjoy 30 Rock so much).

I am still thinking about that argument.

He does have a point that games are about rules and boundaries, whereas art is continually interpretable and symbolic.

I think some people mistake 'art' for simply being 'artistic' in a visual sense.

I don't think the narratives in games are strong enough to be regarded as art (yet), except for Bioshock perhaps.

Not saying this about you but I don't think people should take this to heart as a means of saying games are stupid etc.

(Argument could be subject to change..)

If you thought BioShock was written well (so did I) you should give PlaneScape Torment a go.
