The title of worst president usually goes to Harding, Buchanan, or one of the Whig presidents.
But out of those it's definitely Bush.
Also, Obama has add almost 2 Trillion to the debt not 10.
James Buchanan is the nation's worst president. He basically laid low and let the South secede from the Union.

He killed innocents and ran them out of their land. How can you put that aside? It's not political correctness..

I'm sorry, but I really cannot take anyone who lists carter as worse than James Buchanan seriously
This is so far off base it's not even funny. And saying Obama is the worst isn't too far off?[QUOTE="Sonicplys"]

I realize it's a bit of a dead horse... buuut... That's completely wrong. You have no excuse for saying that he's "added 10 trillion dollars." Absolutely none.Simple question...

Seems good except for William Henry Harrison. Since he died 30 days into office, he really shouldn't be included in the rankings...
haha.. how is he the worst? you did not give any examples in your post at all..he put us in a recession 1.)I hope you are joking 2.) Recessions are pretty much unavoidable, one of the basic concepts of economics is the business cycle 3.) Recessions do not happen overnight(and they are not fixed overnight) Obama had nothing to do with putting us such a bad recession.[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"][QUOTE="Sonicplys"]

I dunno how good or bad of a *president* Jackson was. He was a pretty awful human being, though.PannicAtackHe was the opposite of Carter, who was a good person but an ineffective leader.
He did technically expand voting right though.

I dunno about Nixon. I mean, I know there's all the corruption with Watergate and Kissinger's possible war crimes, but he did some good stuff. Ended the Vietnam war and had successful negotiations with China.haha.. how is he the worst? you did not give any examples in your post at all..he put us in a recession[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"][QUOTE="Sonicplys"]

President's don't put nation's into a recession. Business, decreased production, decreased consumption, and falling consumer confidence cause recessions. It's called the business cycle. The mortage-backed securities bubble and the resulting credit crisis had more to do with the current recession than George W. Bush. I'm no big fan of G. W., but I won't blame him for something he didn't create.
