I'd like to point to the pile of top sevret weapons stacked up in bunkers. *point*

We don't know what secret tech either country has, satellites were invented years ago for the army. The army basically invents all new stuff, then 20 years later releases it to the public when they deem it obsolete and they don't care if the enemy gets their hands on it because they've got better stuff. Either side could win, but I place my bets with the UK. Also an assault on the US would be easier than the UK, as america has it's population spread out over a big area and the army would have to spread thin for defences. Whereas the UK is small and easier to defend. Like guarding a city with 100 people or guarding a small room with 20.

Nevermind the fact that we could level the uk without even stepping on english soil because of our B-52's?

It's a simple fact that the US could beat the UK. Although I never want to see this happen. It would be a sad world if we started fighting for any reason.

Yes, the US would win logicaly........doesnt matter.....cause it wont happen......the two nations are great allies....unless the two governments randomly decide they hate each other there will be no conflict......i dont think britain or US would ever start a conflict with a western ally.....or have they already @__@

anyway......why was vietnam brought up in the first place ? The vietnamese knew it was damn near impossible to have a military victory against the USA, Americans knew it and the viets knew it......so why that was brought up i will never know......its not like the vietnamese were destroying americans....cause that was not the case at all

would have replied to the guy who said that sooner......but i had to leave to take care of buisness :P

Considering we are a tiny island, we've beaten the best most nations have to offer. I the last person to actually invade and take this country by force was william the conqueror in 1066.

Pretty sure the only way you could believe the UK would win is with at least a general dislike of America or a love of the UK. There is absolutely no way any nation on this planet could stand up to America in a 1vs1 battle. By the way, there is no guidelines to winning this war. If the objective was to occupy then the US would lose. Otherwise the US could incapacitate the British army without even stepping foot on the island. No amount of training is going to save you from the air attacks the US is capable of.

The US military doesn't invent any of its weapons technologies. They buy it from defense contractors from all over the globe. The closest the military ever gets to actually designing new weapons technologies is when the US Air Force has their foreign technology researchers steal designs from our enemies and reverse engineer them. Like whenever a downed Russian airplane would go down it became a race to see who could get there first us or them.

Or the cyber attacks. The NSA and NRO employ the worlds top computer engineers. We have the ability to completely shut down all communications anywhere in the world. We can shut entire countries out of their own computers while they watch us take them back to the stone age. It really is not fair. Not even a little bit.

[QUOTE="fatzebra"][QUOTE="ferrari2001"]Well no duh who would win, U.S.A. is like 3 times the size, and has like 10x the budget, and a much larger military. It's not a hard decision. Juggernaut140
We are bigger, however England is the richest country in the world.

Uh... not even close.

Do you know the debt US has ?
