Bears. Raptors as they are portrayed in movies and games are ENTIRELY fictional. They may have acted as a pack, but they were very short, stocky, and fairly stupid reptiles. Bears have gotten the opposite treatment if you ask me. They're portrayed as fat and incapable, but they're actually very, very fast for their size, and are considerably more intelligent and stronger than raptors.
[QUOTE="xTheExploited"]Velociraptors, no contest.super_mario_128
You're both wrong.Bears. No contest.
metroidfood
I'm right.
Actual Velociraptor Size
Well considering that velociraptors are around the size of a turkey I would have to say da bears.
I mean the larger ones. Deinonchus.[QUOTE="BlackHawk2599"]I mean the larger ones. Deinonchus.Well considering that velociraptors are around the size of a turkey I would have to say da bears.

Deinonychus are not velociraptors.

Not to mention bears are smarter, stronger, and ten times more durable than a raptor.
Velociraptors. Grizzly bears might be stronger, but Velociraptors have speed and agility that would give them the edge. omfg_its_dallyYou could say the same about a pack of wolves yet one grizzly can take an entire pack of around 12, they do it all the time at Denali state park and Yellowstone :O...
This is what the bears would be against. The larger Deinoychus raptors.
IndigoSunrise
And bears still win, for a number of reasons.
Bears are durable enough that they can shrug off bullets. They're also a whole hell of a lot faster than people give them credit for, which is why somany people have their arms torn off by bears, because they can't outrun the supposedly fat slow bear.

Pretty much. And the deinonychus are smaller and don't have any sort of number advantage, bears would totally destroy them.
Raptors. They are too agile and fast for the bears.
RazerBlade13
Grizzly bears have a top speed of 35 mph. I doubt the raptors could outrun them for long.
depnds on the type of raptors. if they are velociraptors then the bears win easily. if its Utah or eve better Mega, then the raptors win no contest.

How high can a bear jump? Not as much as a raptor. Raptor jumps up, lands on bears back and kills him. Easy.

Bears can stand on their back 2 feet, and regularly do this when fighting. They can also roll over. Raptors had that advantage against other dinosaurs, who had trouble getting up. Bears could simply roll over and the raptor would be thrown off and under the bear.

The raptor would barely be able to scratch through the bear's hide/fat. And then all the bear has to do is swat it off. Raptor would be either crushed/seriously injured.
Besides, the thing is slightly bigger than a chicken, it's not a threat to a bear. Even a deinonychus is smaller than a human.
I cant believe bears are losing in this poll. Raptors are dumber and weaker than bears. It takes a shot between the eyes to kill a grizzly bear. Raptors dont have guns.
We aren't talking about silly fantasy "raptors".Raptors. If anyone voted bears that means that they never saw Jurrassic Park.

Raptors are DEFINATELY not dumber than bears. They are pack hunters, and any animal that's a pack hunter is not stupid. It takes intelligence and coordination in order to hunt that way.I cant believe bears are losing in this poll. Raptors are dumber and weaker than bears. Hungry_Jello
Oh, I saw Jurassic Park and I voted for bears. Why? Remember what happened when the two raptors took on the T-Rex? They lost. There are 100 bears and 100 raptors. I'm guessing at least two will be needed to take down just one bear, but it's pretty much a 1 on 1 fight on a large scale. Sorry, they just won't win.Raptors. If anyone voted bears that means that they never saw Jurrassic Park.

Neither would win...Chuck Norris will own them all without using anything including his hands and feet.ninja_where

To whoever said Allosaures vs Grizzley would be a better match LOL whatever the Dinos would rape the bears
