India has been losing land for the last 50 years. They lost land to China in the 60's. I think China would win do to better infastructure and more people, but neither of them should be in a war. All you need to do to fight India is poison/infected the animals and you win.

China is not friends with US and India- they only have diplomatic relations because of the strong economy. Haven't you heard of Indo-China war? It was incomplete........but anyway Russia and India have very close ties, they both build military aircrafts, conduct space programs....when US Navy arrived near Indian Port, several russian nuke subs surfaced (according to CIA)...this shows Russians might also be guarding indian coasts. Think about it, India has 1.3 trillion dollar economy, in the next 15 years it will be close to US economy...with Double military budget..

I don't think US would really involve in anything, they are only worried about other countries having nukes- ofcourse they would be worried considering they've used it twice on japan. Even then US has a nuke deal with India....I really don't know who'd win, but it's going to be the end of the world.
India because they have military experience not to mention they've beaten China before in a War. India has excellent counter-terrorist units, a well equipped army, and resources. China would put up a strong fight too but really, they have no reason to fight eachother. If they allied, they could take over the world.

If we let JUST India and China fight, it won't be the end of the world. Neither have enough nukes to create a nuclear holocaust.

Current generation nukes are very strong (with powers up 50-100kt), 10 strikes is enough to send the world to stoneage.
The Chinese Army is well over 1 million strong, plus they got money unlike the poorer India.

India is one of the richest nations in the world. The problem is that the money isn't well distributed between the 1.1 billion people. Plus the Indian army is over a million strong also (though that doesn't matter much considering their both nuclear powers).
China. I guess india could throw diseases like malaria at china, but china could throw nukes back :P

Experience =/= training. Do you realize how much of the chinese economy(second largest in the world, but will soon become the largest) goes into defense spending?
Why don't you guys google the matter to find out which side would win in less than a day.
China for severa reasons. 1) If china were to go to war with India then you can bet a years wages that Pakistan will also declare war meaning that its atleast 2million trained troops ready for deployment against india in the first few weeks. 2) China possess huge huge huge numbers of artillery, tanks, IFVs etc (second only to Russia probably more in then tank department) 3) China has a standing army of 1.8million troops along with 800k reserves and just under 4 million paramilitary forces... India has 1.3million active troops, 1.1million reserves and 1 million paramilitaries... 4) Both have military experience China is constantly fighting insurgencies across the country, china has defeated India before 5) China is technolgically superior due to its methods of research (steals Russias tech and develops it further) though it doesnt have that many of these units 6) India has the advantage navally whereas chinese airpower would dominate cba to continue
china because they actually have an Army. India has lots of people, but most of them aren't soldiers, and the military isn't the foundation of the country like China.
