who would you pick to play Solid Snake?

Everyone knows that people are trying to get a MGS movie made so who wouldyou pick for Solid Snake? I think if Tom Cruise can recapture his older work from The Last Samurai he would be a great pick.

Also who would you pick for Old Snake in MGS4? I'm going with Clint Eastwood on that one provided he is still alive and acting.

Hugh Jackman always reminded me a bit of Solid Snake. As for the role of Old Snake I think I agree with your choice of Clint Eastwood.

Kojima himself suggested either Hugh Jackman or Russell Crowe but that was before Christian Bale became a megastar thanks to Batman begins.

Anyway, either jackman or bale would be perfect. Bale would be my 1st choice though.

Daniel Day Lewis for me. He's such a phenomenal all-around actor and could easily fit into the part.

Or Sam Elliot, he just looks more like Snake though I don't know much about his recent acting.

We would just have to incorporate the fact some animation would have to be used on Eastwoods part as i highly doubt he's flexible enough to fill the role :P

And he'd have to say "get off my lawn" at least twice in the movie. That is a must.:)
