I don't care. I'm still going to see it. I see all the Marvel films.JustPlainLucasEven Elektra? Lets face it, most Marvel films are crap.
I cannot see how it "stays true to comics' when in a 30 second tv trailer I saw five(count them FIVE) continuity errors. Ill stick with the comics thank you.mattykovax
This.
oh, I don't care if you don't listen to metal, but don't listen to Linkin Park. They aren't very good, and they're getting worse. Their last cd was abominable.Paladin_Kingit wasn't that bad but yeah compared to their first 2 it wasn't that good. but meteora was really good.
Blob. Deadpool and gambit. his weapon X training coinciding with Cyclops. I do not really feel like getting deeper but i do know what I am talking about. And wheher he agrees with me or not on the movies worth I bet Xaos would back me on the continuity issues.mattykovax
I think you should watch the movie before you judge it from a trailer thats all I can tell you because I don't want to spoil anything for you for the sake of explanation, the movie is great and I think you won't be disappointed.
Its not the movie I am judging. Its all the years of continuity I refuse to throw out for and hour and a halfs worth of enjoyment. I never said the movie was bad;) I said I do not want to get mad at it,especially if ist good because I have four decades of stories that it ignores behind me. I mean no offence but I don't understand why some people are so tied with somethings, what Im trying to say is I don't think you would throw such great experience you had just because of potentially bad movie, I think you would love it becuase you are a big fan, if I were in your shoes I would be the first to watch it because I want to see some of the characters in action, I don't think it could do any harm to you. And if the movie will be a bad experience for you, it's just the movie and the comics won't be affected in any way.i really hated this movie...and thats a shame since wolverine is one of my favorite super heroes..... damn you hollywood....damn you to hell.
The cgi was bad (esspically wolverine's claws) , the humor was bad, i didnt like the lame twist near the end, some of the characters were so over the top that it was taking it self way to seriously i.e. girl that turns into diamonds, blob, that asian guy with guns, black cowboy guy that teleports, ryan reynolds before AND after....ugh....
idk i just felt so damn underwhelmed by this movie.....maybe i was too spoiled with good super-hero movies like the dark knight and the watchmen?

I have been reading these books for twenty five years, and forty years worth. I will look at the screen and say,Blob did not meet wolvie,he met the X-men. gambit never knew anyone but sinister and he came in when storm was reduced to a child. Not was a child, the only refrence to that was when she tried to pick prof X pocket when he fought the shadow king. and years later when he came back and she was reduced to childhood by nanny, gambit came along. And Deadpool for all his popularity was not even ever a marvel charcter untiil they were afraid to lose Rob Leifeild(who sucked except drawing) so they said he could write and he left a few months later anyways. So than they made backstory. Seriously,I am a comic nerd,I hate this film.I think you should watch the movie before you judge it from a trailer thats all I can tell you because I don't want to spoil anything for you for the sake of explanation, the movie is great and I think you won't be disappointed.

I never listen to film critics, most of them only enjoy films made before 1950 anyway.

What? :| I guess yearly top 10 lists dont exist.
I saw it. I thought it was great. I've watched all X-Men movies and this is the one I like the most. I'm not the best at giving critics, but I have to say the movie is pretty good.
I already saw it and it was pretty good. Deadpool and Gambit were the definite highlights. It is just like all the other X-men, a summer blockbuster.
I just got back from seeing it. It's just a run-of-the-mill, action-oriented comic book movie.
Nothing great, but not horrid. I wouldn't suggest spending money to see it in theatres, though. There just seems to be a lot of crap out right now, and some friends and I needed something to watch.
[QUOTE="lucky326"][QUOTE="Nifty_Shark"]100% at Rotten Tomato's. It's actually getting better reviews from casual's than Trekkies to be honest. I don't like it too much and I'm a hardcore fan but I know people who are interested in it yet haven't seen a single episode. The reason Star Trek is 100% is because there are only 17 reviews.Isn't Star Trek like the ultimate nerd fantasy though? They are mighty hardcore.

Yeah. Anyone who knows Rottentomatoes "tomato-meter" well enough, is to NEVER trust what the ratings are for new releases until the movie settles in with at least over 100-200 reviews.
I've seen a lot of great movies that have gotten poor ratings from the critics. Heck, I remember Ebert (or was it Roeper..) thought that the first Lord Of The Rings was a bad film (he said the same of Gladiator and countless other good movies). I ignore critics and pay attention to public opinion. I find that IMDB (user ratings) is a much better measurement of the quality of a film than critic ratings (and rotten tomatoes) are.
Anyways, I saw Wolverine. It wasn't spectacular (though I thought it was quite a bit better than X3), but I found it pretty entertaining. If you were interested in the film, I'd go see it as you'll probably enjoy it.
