Promoting someone because of their colour isen't necessarily racist. Has there ever been a black president? Not that I am aware of. Perhaps people just want to see that america has changed and that the whites can accept a black man as president. I am not saying I agree with voting for someone based soley on colour. But there are other ways to look at this than just the racist angle. funkadelichika
so it wouldn't be racist to vote for McCain or Clinton just because they're white.

I saw a poll that said 1 in 6 people in PA voted for didn't vote for Obama because race was an issue to them. We could talk about that?

If I would prefer pizza over chines food it doesn't mean I don't like Chinese food. I would love to see a black president and a woman president in my life time. I would also like to see a handicap, bisexual, transgendered, interacial, president. It just shows that we've changed as a society.

Right now, we go for political correctnees and blame on the other group. "If they can act stupid why can't we" mentallity. I hate when people get upset when the obvious is put in front of them. A lot of people will vote for McCain simply beacuse Obama is black. Some peole will vote for Obama because he is black.

i wouldn't mind a black, interracial, or woman president, i would support a handicapped one. But i will not support a transgender or bisexual, although i would like to see an asexual one.

Whoopi isn't my idea of an educated woman, she's an outspoken actress, and thinks her opinion is worth a damn. Well, it's not. Also, most blacks are racist. Face it, they like their brothers more than us lame white d00dz.RiSkyBiZ-13
hey man that's not Politically Correct ahh :D

Alright lets just settle this already. Whoopi Goldberg is NOT a racist. She is a washed up comedian with a lackluster career.

Racism is still talked about? We really need to stop this, people. You're only encouraging it.

No it woulden't be.But it would be making no statement toward social um reform whatsoever it would just be saying "I like white people..." Big deal...It's not like it means I hate black people or anything. I mean it COULD mean that but there could also be aliens in my head....

WTH does tradition mean when it comes to this subject? That you traditionally only vote for white people? That makes no sense, nor is it rational.

It makes as much sense as voting for a black person because they are black and because there has never been a black president before thus breaking tradition.
