I don't like either candidate. But to democraically vote is a right if you are a citizen of the United States of America. I have many many international friends who came here and I know when they become citizens that they will vote. Compared to the political systems of their home countries and their vote [if they do get to vote] doesn't even count there.

Yes, I am voting. I will vote for Guybrush Threepwood. I don't like either candidates.

i'll **** all i want. even if i voted, and voted against bush, it would not have changed the outcome of that idiot winning twice. and i ****ed all i wanted.

Do you realize the irony here? If everyone who felt like you do about voting, voted against Bush in 2004 he probably would have lost.

i doubt it.

There are a lot of people who don't vote, thats how people like Bush get elected. People just B**** and moan but never take the time to act. Political parties count on people like you to get un-popular people into office.

i didnt vote because none of the candidates appealed to me, and its probably not going to do much good to vote for the other guy just because you hate the other even more. and god forbid if i decided to vote for a party that was NOT democrat or republican.

People vote 3rd party all the time. I voted 3rd party in 2000, but only because I thought there was a snow balls chance in Hell that Bush was going to beat Gore. National politics aside there are a lot of local issues that demand your attention to vote. If you live in Michigan, you can approve Proposal 1, the use of Medical Marijuana. Its the first step in the right direction and it should be passed. I'm sure there are other issues in your area, but don't write them off because you don't like the presidential candidates.

I didn't bother voting last night in the Canadian election because I didn't have enough confidence in any of either the federal party leaders or my local riding candidates. None of them struck me with enough "hutzpah" to give me reason to vote for them. Unfortunately, Harper couldn't win the majority government this country needs.

But what if you dislike the person you vote for? Can you hate on him then?

Sure, at least you are being part of the process. If you don't like either but vote for one, your more than welcome to hate away. I'm just glad your going to vote.

It doesn't matter if your vote counts per say, I'm in Arkansas and my Obama vote won't mean crap. Yes you can ***** all you want, but becasue you couldn't spare a hour or two November 4th, or get a ballot by mail your complaining means nothing to me. It was a great privilege when I turned 18 and was able to vote and have in every single election held since then. I am sometimes voting for a candidate I know will lose, but at least I participated in it. It's a privilege that if you have you should honor and do.

I'm not of voting age. But when I am, I'll either vote for candidates that I actually agree with, or I won't vote at all. Since I don't fully support McCain or Obama, I wouldn't vote for either.
