Just curious, since I'm a huge fan of the show myself, and everyone has their own favorite doctor. My roommate loves David Tennant, but I actually really enjoy the new Doctor, Matt Smith. He's kind of a happy medium of all the doctors, and still manages to be intimidating at times.

Not to mention season 5 was one of the best seasons I've seen. (Season 5 of the "new" series that is)

So, Who fans, who's your favorite Doctor?

David Tennant, he just seems to fit the role the best, though admittedly I'm not a huge fan and don't watch it often.

I like the 10th. But I haven't been as into Dr. Who as i'd like to be. I've seen one with the 9th (the Empty Child) A small selection of episodes with the 10th doctor (Blink, The Girl in the FIrelplace, and a few others). And two with the 11th doctor. If I wanted to really get into Dr. Who where should I start? The first Doctor?

I only watched some of the new ones but Tennant if I had to choose. Ecclestone was really good but Tennant is Tennant. It's hard to compete.

I've been watching since the mid 80s. The 4th Doctor is still the best, but of the recent set, I prefer Matt Smith.

Thats a really tough question lol. I started with the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, watched all the seasons with him in it, then worked backwards. It's really up to you.

Matt Smith. Although Tennant was good, he was just a tad too "nice." The Doctor is not necessarily a "good" person, and I think Matt does a better job of balancing the Doctor's heroic and dark personas. Plus, I think Smith brought some of the chaotic nature of the Doctor that wasn't as evident with DT.

Of the old Doctors, I'd have to go with Tom Baker and John Pertwee.

As for companions, I'd have to go with Amy. She's quite a ginger.K Gillan

If you look at British televesion as a whole, there are some pretty weird looking dudes.

Case in point (and from a Steven Moffatt show): Benedict Cumberbatch.

Awesome as Sherlock. Would make a great Doctor.

Yeah, I agree, I couldn't stand Rose, or what they decided to do with her for the story. It was dissapointing. So Amy all the way. I don't understand all the hate about River though

River Song, Sexy, and the Weeping Angels are the three best things Steve Moffat has brought to Dr. Who. River's story and how her timeline plays out with the Doctor's is well-crafted and unique. I mean, his first time meeting her is her last time seeing him. Both are moing through time in opposite directions. That's pretty cool.

I quite agree with that one! :)

Now that I think of it, I think I couldn't get past Tennants sideburns... Or the eyes, they're very... staring.

Yep, Jenna will be a hotty. Karen will still be making a few appearances. As long as Moffat brings back Amy and Rory sparingly, I'll be happy. When RTD kept bringing Rose back, it was just overkill. By the end of it, you just wanted Rose to go away.

Time of Angels was actually quite a creepy episode. I loved it! XD "Bob here sir..." "Bob, where are christian and angelo?" "Dead sir, the angel snapped their necks..." "Thats odd, Bob, where are you, are u ok?" "I'm dead sir, the angel snapped my neck too." ".... "

I did like Rose to start off with, but she did get to be a little much. And Billie Piper isn't attractive.

I LOVED Donna Noble as a character because she wasn't afraid of giving the Doctor sh*t.
