My absolute favorite gangsta rapper is Ice Cube, his ish from the 90's was dope, but 2Pac and Biggie get honorable mentions.

Rap isn't about the beat though, it's more focused on the lyrics.

That's why i like rap more than any genre, it's more focused on lyrics than the instrumentals.
