Uh... I meant open as in public. Being open about and proud of your sexuality, to me, does not have to involve sexual inneundo and describing sexual fantasies to people. >_>

I mean, it could, but I would find that to be obnoxious. Whether it was a heterosexual person or a homosexual person saying those things, I wouldn't like it very much.

It's Christian dogma. The bible says that gay people are unnatural, so society has always been somewhat anti-gay. I think this is stupid, and I do sense a rise in the amount of acceptance gay people are getting. Hopefully soon the only people that treat gays any differently are hardcore Catholics.

We can only hope.

it's not just Christian dogma...people have an unecessary fear or hatred of homosexuality...even in societies where the religion does not condemn it...
