I dont understand.. I always knew US is a bad place to live in?

I live in Belgium(EU). And I never undertood it, all the movies about "freedom" and "democracy" who really buy's that load of crap?

I don't brag about my country being better than yours, but ya know there are some countries who don't have freedom alright and the U.S is here to help change that. Sure some, if not most of our ideals are crazy, psychaotic, if not pointless, we still try our best to get farther.I really love it when people who have never really lived in the country that they're ripping on decide to just make fin of it without knowing very much. As for the guns thing... yeah man whatever.

Wow this is the most ignorant thing I've heard all week. You're the one accusing all these things about America, I'm guessing just from seeing some movies (like the American flag waving around in Spiderman 3, Superman movies, etc.). That automatically shut me off from taking this seriously. And agian, it's obvious the majority of America-haters are just jumping on this bandwagon started by the people around you, leaving you left to join them and feel the energy of having a common though (regardless if you know nothing about it).

Give me a break, I'm almost positive most Americans don't give a rat's ass that we have nuclear weapons or are the most military -spending country in the world. In fact I wouldn't care if we took out each and every one of the nukes. Who cares? I sure don't. Where did you get the ludicrous idea that we think of that stuff nationalistically? Movies again?

Lastly it's obvious you haven't even been to American and to those us us Americans here, you really can't fully judge the country on the quality of life unless you've been to multiple states and lived in them.

it's a figure of speech. Of course you can't do ANYTHING you want it's morally impossible and literally too. Why? No one has the capacity to kill someone, have sex, snort drugs, do whatever they want, people want direction in their lives no matter what anyone says. You can't be free technically, which goes without saying that we can do a lot of what other people can't. As for morally, do you see yourself doing drugs every signle day for your entire life, without having to do anything? There are natural laws that humans must follow, and doing things that we preceive as fun everyday just can't be done.
