It doesnt make much sense to me and I dont think it ever will. Who are "we" to call ourselfs "intelligent life"? We've only scratched the surface on all of the secrets to our existence. Personally I think the universe could be some huge giants science experiment and were constantly being observed but just as well we could easily be somthing that was born in like a corner of their closet. Anyone else have thoughts similar?

DONT BE DENSE PEOPLE! Although it may seem completley right, WE WILL NEVER BE 100% SURE WE ARE! WHY? Simply because we cant communicate with them. Its sad really, were all independant. If somone can find a way to communicate with animals, the earth will seriously take a sharp turn in the right direction. Just think of the possibilites.

Of all the species on this planet, we are the only ones doing great harm to it conciously. Because of our ignorance we have many faults other animals are not guilty of, and we have foolishly harnessed the power to destroy all life on this planet. To the main point, I believe we are foolishly intelligent.
i guess we are intelligent enough to know that there is intelligence in lifeforms, but probably our perception of our own intelligence is just that. A mere percetion.
