I have a few friends who are so obnoxiously loud, I've stopped inviting them over. Even in casual conversation, they're so loud I'm left wincing and grimacing, trying my best not to cover my ears.

What's even worse is being in the car with them. Turning the music on doesn't help, as they just get louder.

I've asked them numerous times to settle it down, but that only lasts about a minute. And yeah they talk really, really loud, but their laughter is even louder than that. 'Guffaw' I believe is the word.

I've cut sh1t short plenty of times because I just couldn't take it anymore, and I hate doing that but what are you gonna do?

Do you know anybody like this? How do you handle them? Do you ignore it or do you tell them to calm the fvck down?

I know a few girls that think being completely random at all times is just hilarious. Girls, it's annoying, and you look stupid. Stop it. I've just stopped hanging out with them.

I have a few friends like that and even though it gets on my nerves every now and again, I tolerate it because they are the greatest friends that I could have asked for...

Most of my friends aren't like that. I used to have some that are but I just didn't want to hang out with them anymore.

I feel your pain big time. I feel like i am the only quiet, reasonable person out of my extended circle of friends. And i'm definitely not the weird one, it is ALL of them. The exception to the rule. Plenty of times i have to tell them to lower their voice when they're just sat in a room talking to me. Living with my last gang of housemates was annoying for that very reason; their standard speaking voice was akin to my yelling at you voice. And if they found something funny? The only way to appropriately express that was to SCREAM bloody murder. One of the girls in particular was just ridiculous. Her laugh wasn't even a laugh, it was literally a guttural HOWL. People like that need a slap.

Do they listen to music very loudly? Maybe they're going deaf (seems to be my friend's little brother's reason for talking so loudly) lol.

Luckily the people I hang around with aren't loud or annoying, but my year group is filled with loud bastards who really need to learn how to shut the f*ck up. Girls who try to "be random" and who feel the need to shout whatever they are saying even though the damn person is right beside them.... ugh... And the lads are no better

I used to be the loud one back in high school, but then I had a couple friends around me who started to act like me... so I became the quiet one. I get obnoxious loud and crazy at random to keep my friends on their toes to give them a reminder who the original "loudmouth knucklehead"(naruto reference) is.

Take a syringe of botox and inject it onto one side of the vocal cords. They can still communicate but they will be significantly quieter.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY CAN BE SO LOUD.

No but seriosuly, I'm one of those people that tends to talk to loudly.

It's not that I am being obnoxious, it's just to me I'm actually talking at conversation level. For some reason my Idea of a whisper doming from me is just a little lower leve than the volume of regular conversation...

I have no idea why, my minds just stupid. :P

Just mention to them that there are being a bit loud, and eventually they may get better.

I'm aparently like that. I don't realise that I'm taking loudly, but people complain that I do.

This. if them being loud is enough for you to stop hanging out with them, you're no friend.
