i just randomly off the top of my head wanted to know this. my brother was telling me he wanted a jersey for christmas and i said "why, there so cheap and u can get em any time"

then when i googled it i was shocked to see prices upward from 40 bucks! i had a couple bball ones when i was really young, too young to pay attention to those kinds of things.

anyway yea...just curious.

Pretty much. If it's a sport jersey for a team that few people root for, I bet it'd be a lot cheaper.

most authentic type jerseys are actually really good quality. Not to mention that sports fans will over pay on alot of things just look at how outragous ticket prices are for some of these events. If you're lucky or don't like a popular team then you can find some of the stuff pretty cheap on clearance alot of the time.

Try e Bay. I got an authentic Tomlinson jersey from a guy in Cali who wholesales from Reebok. Could it be fake? Possibly. Looks and feels real to me though. $50.

I've been asking the same question myself.

Last week I went out and bought a replica Redskin jersey (Randel El...my favorite player). I was shocked that it was $69....and that was only becauseI got it on sale.

I depends on location, where you buy the jersey and how popular the athlete is. If the athlete is god-like, then that jersey can go up to $100. The location because if you buy them in the city, they are much expensive than in a tiny town. I think they cost so much because of how they are made.

No, it'll go up to around $300 depending on company and type. Authentics are usually in the $100-$150 range.
