Why are they lying to us about the pyramids?

I don't think it had anything to do with aliens, I mean it's possible but there isn't any evidence to suggest it. It's all just speculation at this point, stop watching the history channel, it has nothing to do with history anymore.

Although I do think that it's possible very anceint humans were more advanced then we think now, no evidence for this but it is posible. Perhaps we didn't "discover" new technology or ideas, but simply "rediscovered" them? I don't know, just a thought.

of course we rediscovered things. *cough* dark ages. Look at Rome circa 0AD, and then at Europe circa 1100. World of difference. Romans had indoor plumbing, automatic doors, fountains, bath houses with hot tubs....then in the middle ages all that went away.

That is true, but what if humans were more advanced before then they are today? And somehow we lost all knowledge of it for thousands of years and are only rediscovering it again? I know your not a religious person, but in genesis (no I don't take it literally) there is a story of a city called Bable that had advanced technology and God destroyed it.

I think that many stories come from real events but over time people over exaggerate or add their own spin on it. Just a thought.

im no builder, but even i know that this information is ridiculous, even more ridiculous than the alien theory.

GoodFight21

right on! you're no expert but why should that stop you from knowing better than busloads of experts who visited the sites, came up with theories, tested these theories, reached a consensus and upheld this theory to this day?

Since when is 20 years a short amount of time? And if you have thousands of slaves working on it, its not impossible, after all the pyramids are living proof of that. You don't really believe that aliens helped them do you? The exact methods used to build the Pyramids are unknown however.

Well people thought it was a joke that man would fly someday. Oh look at that. Is it that unlikely that a society way back then were more advanced than we initially thought? I mean honestly stop being so naive. No one even really knows what they did, besides that it probably took a ton of people to do it.

Maybe they started from the inside first? Just a guess....

I said it was just something to think about, not that I personally believe it. But I do believe that some of our ideas and SOME of our technology has been around or could have been alot longer then we give it credit for. Like Leonardo DaVinci had detailed plans for an air plane, and this was several hundreds of years before the Wright Brothers ever came up with thier designs. And even some people think that DaVinci got his ideas from other sources.

My point is that if a guy could come up with comlex designs over 300-400 years ago, then what's not to say someone else could have had similar ideas thousands of years ago?
