Why are they not making any more Star Wars movies/reboots?

I'm suprised. I would actually like a reboot. I think the Star Wars Universe is huge and their are so many potential stories and villains out there.

Why not make any movies out of them?

There are actually rumors of a Boba Fett solo movie based off his story in the Star Wars Universe, it would be really interesting to see.

the old star wars are being converted to 3D..so is titantic.. yes hollywood as ran out of things to produce

All 3 Star Wars prequels have killed any interest I had in the Star Wars universe.

Yeah, KOTOR and KOTOR II we're perfect additions to the Star Wars unviverse would make good movies if done right. I personally would love a movie about Luke Skywalker and his jedi academy after Return of the Jedi.

Firstly, George Lucas owns the right to Star Wars and thus no body can use the material for a reboot. Secondly, he's releasing them all in 3d first so he can make more money.

Or, maybe, have Abrams write it and Jackson direct it?

They made episodes 4, 5, and 6 and then wisely decided to stop making movies before they butchered the series, thankfully.

Christopher Nolan. Not Abrams. Could you imagine if he moved on to Star Wars after the Batman Trilogy? He would put Episodes 1, 2, and 3 to shame. Maybe he can show where they take Jar Jar Binks out behind the shed with a laser pistol.
