Why are you here instead of digging your teeth into the biggest game release of the year so far???

I'm on here because I'm doing a report for university which is due in tomorow, and I'm just taking a short break on GS.

cause I just went to the mall to grab my copy, get a haircut, eat lunch and come back. Havent been on GS today, and the game is still in the bag i brought it in. I go to class in 30 mins, so I'll just wait till after class. Im not ansy to play, Im still knee-deep in Assassins creed as of now....

Ditto. I'm broke, and seeing that it is finals week, I probably wouldn't get any studying done if the game was in my possession.

Ditto. Im broke and I have to wait til next week til my dad wil give me the money to buy it and that is even if there are still copies.

I'm here as I'm just being lazy about getting ready to go to work and I was incredibly disappointed with the last two iterations of the Grand Theft Auto series so it's somewhat hard for me to get very excited about a new one. I might look into it later if I hear good things from more reliable sources down the road.

I'm not broke, but I have important exams in a few weeks so I would get too distracted with GTA IV if I bought it now and wouldn't get any revision done.

Firstly, I didn't fall for the hype this time. Reason being, San Andreas nearly killed the entire series for me. Secondly, I am waiting for the PC version and both the upgraded visuals and fixed performance/pop-in issues. Thirdly, I don't own either a 360 or PS3 and don't plan on buying either in anything but the far distant future (PS3 when the new Team ICO game is released... and even then it will still be "maybe").

Because the only thing I liked in GTA3 was driving cars. I'd rather buy burnout paradise.

And why does the review say it has great graphics, from what ive seen, they arent all that great, but thats what happens when a game doesnt come out on PC :roll:

That being said, I lost interest in the game when I learned it was Liberty City again, it just struck me as being GTA III with better graphics. I didn't bother keeping up with it after then so there might be some new and exciting features I'm not aware of. Regardless, even if I did have the game, it would be irresponsible of me to play it considering I have a lot of revision to do for upcoming exams.

BTW, its nothing like GTA 3, liberty city has been completely remodellled and its got tons of new features, dont let finishing GTA3 put you off

Because I think a game where you are rewarded for doing drugs, killing people, and doing hookers is a terrible game to be playing. Also because we like being in the off topic forum where we don't have to talk about anything that *belongs in the general game* forum. This will be moderated.
