So anyway, I can barely drink any more. I used to like drinking all the time, but within the last 3 or 4 months, I've not really been able to. Like, I start drinking, but I can't make it anywhere NEAR what I used to drink. Like, I start drinking, then I start feeling sick after a couple of beers or one rum and coke. And if I somehow manage to drink what I used to drink, I wake up sick as a dog, with a HORRIBLE hangover.
Even worse, I can't even get drunk any more! I start drinking and then have to stop because I feel sick, but I don't manage to drink enough to get drunk. And that's the worst part really. I mean, we've all gotten sick off of alcohol before, but at least you expect to get drunk out of it. If you somehow end up skipping the drunkenness and go straight to being sick, what's the point of drinking at all?
Anyway, this has happened before, but the problem has always gone away after about a week or two. Not this time though. This time it's been at least 3 months since I've been able to drink like I'm supposed to, and I'm starting to get concerned. What if I NEVER get to go back to my usual drinking habits?
Anyway, does anyone have any idea what's going on here? If I drink a lot on a regular basis, so much that it's almost routine, why would I suddenly start to get sick after drinking just a little bit of alcohol?
