I would rather forget a capitalization than rape the actual use of a word. Just saying.
As a Jew, Under Jewish law at the time Jesus would have been legally obligated to be married of he were to consider himself a rabbi/teacher. There is some speculation that the wedding where Jesus turns water into wine at his mothers request was in fact for his very own wedding ( and no not Mormon BS)Nuck81
It is unthinkable that if Jesus had a widowed wife that there would be no mention of this "Wife" for two thosuand years. Besides the Bahai religion forbids you from accepting that idea.

No it doesn't. And I didn't say I believed it, just that there is speculation, and I consider it plausible, but don't believe it would affect his divinity in any way. There are many facts about Jesus life we don't know, that have been lost in time or "covered up" it is well within the Churches capability to cover up something like Jesus being married. The first council of Nicaea basically formed everything we now know of the modern church and the modern Bible. It would be very interesting to know exactly what ended up on the cutting room floor.[QUOTE="Sedin44"]Why don't you have a girlfriend? I do. Ask your sister. In Dogma the descendants were from Jesus brother, not from Jesus himself.According to The Metatron he had a family.

I said he had a family(meaning his neice, brother, etc.), never said that Jesus himself had kids.
The correct scene is here.
[QUOTE="harashawn"]People didn't really date back then. If you wanted a wife, you'd offer her father a pig or something. If Jesus had a wife, it was probably Mary Magdalene.tenaka2
Wasn't that his mother?
No, Mary Magdalene was a desciple. Mary/The Virgin Mary was his mother.he did have one most likely. why do you think the church has spent 2000 years slandering mary magdalene his most beloved disciple?Just curious what people think. You like Jack Chick and Zeitgeist theorists give too much power to the Churches.
But your ignorance of Nicea is reason enough not to deal seriously wiht you on this subject. Read the canons, then read Constantine and when he talks about it, Athanaisus and Eusibius on the council. Then we will talk about the Holy council.
