Why do a lot of black people have the gap?

You know the one...

No racism, just a simple question. I acknowledge a lot of white people and people of other races have this too, but it just seems most common among black people. What strikes me particiularly odd is that there's other places you can have gaps in your teeth - so why right in the middle of their front teeth?

Geez why does everything have to be racist nowadays? Back in high school i got suspended for racism for asking a Spanish teacher why all Mexicans had black hair. Seemed like a legit question to me.Penguinchow

This is not racist, it's a genetics question. Like asking why Asians are short (which is more diet related), or why the French smell so bad.

Besides those few, I've never seen a black person with that "gap" :?
