My cousin has a tatoo of a cross and has the names of everyone close to him that he has lost undernieth. and he goes to church every sunday. and has a bible in his car. and for the most part my other cousins are the same. another reason is so if they got in a fight they could be like "why would u fight religious man".

Don't know, I see videos rappers who wear the cross and sit around with a room full of almost naked women, I would hardly consider him as religious.
Just because they are religious doesnt mean they are saints. I mean look, we have an ex-nazi, I mean german soldier as pope...that just goes to show you are never too "bad" for religion. Plus dont forget the Crusades...killing, maiming and raping, all in the name of the lord! Crusaders were the gangsters of their days!

I think that's more of a Tupac thing. He had so many tattoos, lots of gangsters looked up to him for the wrong reasons, and started copying the tattoos he had, or where he had em. It's not just the cross, same goes for tear drops - shags(long pony tail, usually endorsed by Latin Kings) etc
