Why do men drool over hot chicks.

Men drool over hot chicks is because god or whoever made us built us like that. We were made to find parts of a female good looking so we would breed with them and continue humanity just like every other creature.

People do it at my work too. I sort of find it offensive, but it doesnt bother me enough to tell them to stop, i just dont participate

I mean, seriously. Not just you guys here on Gamespot, but guys in general. My coworkers might elbow me in the arm and say "hey man, check out that chick. Nice, eh?"

And while the woman that they point out to me might be attractive, does it matter?

You don't like them. You don't even know them, you just drool over them because you saw them on TV and you would like to have sex with someone who looks like that. You're NEVER going to have sex with them. Never. You know deep in your heart that you'll never even get to properly meet them. And you know that even if you did meet them, there's a very VERY good chance that they would hate you simply because you aren't on their level.

 

So WHY? Can someone please tell me exactly what is accomplished by getting so "distracted" every time a "hot" woman appears? For the sake of argument, let's just say that it's entirely based on the fact that you would like to have sex with her. I personally don't see how that helps. Why not? Because you're in public, so you really can't do anything about your desire to have sex with her. And by the time you've gotten home, you most likely will have forgotten about her anyway.

 

So I just don't see what is gained by drooling over women that you know you don't have a chance in hell of ever "getting to know".I know that this forum is mostly frequented mostly by men (and some teenagers) so can somebody explain this to me? Okay, for the sake of argument, let's say that I'm at work and an extremely hot customer comes in. That's fine, but can somebody please tell me how it could POSSIBLY benefit ME to stand there wishing I could have sex with her when I know very darn well that I never will?

Because it triggers a physical reaction in us. Endocrine system and so forth. Hot chicks entice us, triggering chemicals to be released that have been the catylyst for much human reproduction and, overall, the perpetuation of our race.

Have you been so hyper-civilized that you can't experience normal bodily function? 

For my own part, I enjoy looking at beautiful things period.  I can enjoy the aesthetic value of a painting, or sunset as much as the female form.  So when I see something that is pleasing to the eye, I look at it.

I don't do the construction worker "hubbah-hubbah" kind of hooting, or anything, but I've been known to say something like "Now that is a beautiful looking person" to someone I'm with to get their opinion on the matter.

I can still enjoy looking at someone even though I have no intention of being in a relationship with them, or even talking to them.
