Why do men want women to make sandwiches for them?

Well you got to be specific about your sandwich. My girlfriend make a delicious sandwich, just I hate white bread and that is what is usually available at her house. Wheat bread rules.

They don't always make good ones... I was at this girl's house today, and she asked me if I wanted something to eat. She made me a sandwich and it was salami and that gross american 'cheese' on white bread with ketchup... to me it was pretty gross. IdkJipset

She's probably secretly a guy.

I think most would rather someone else do something for them rather than themself (assuming the quality would meet such standards).
