Why do people dress up/ become goth, etc

Defenition of Goth: Your parents are dead, yourpet is dead, you brother and sisterare dead and your girlfriend/boyfriend just left you and you just feel like...singing.

They do it to fit in (AS much as they'll tell you they don't) with a certain group or they do it for easier access to drugs or they do it for the wild goth parties.

That was ignorant. If you say that then either youre a hypocrite or you dont wear clothes at all. Just because someone follows a particular style doesnt mean thats enough information for you to judge them and say theyre "they are dead and cold bla bla bla".

For the record I'm not goth (I dress quite plainly) but that was just a mean statement which would lead one to believe you are the one who is dead and cold on the inside.
