It's the same thing everytime. It's always a fast pitch that they pitch to the outside or the inside or straight down the plate. Sometimes they curve it from the inside to the outside or the outside to the inside OR they use sliders instead of straightfast & curved fast balls.

They only use slow balls when they are throwing balls or want the batter to hit it.

A couple of weeks ago, my ex-gf made me go to a yankee game with her. I thought it might be more fun than watching it on TV, and a the time she wasn't an ex-gf...so I went with her to keep her happy. So, we got there, I spent $10 to get us each a slice of pizza (which sucked...you'd think that at $5 a slice, they could make it good) and then we sat down in our seats (Or at least what we thought were our seats...an angry lady told us that they weren't half way through the first inning). But any way, we both got so bored that we left in the third inning because we couldn't take it any more. I don't know how people sit through that crap.

Because watching men stand in a feild scratching there balls, hocking lugies, an chewing Tobacco isn't fun, or exciting to watch over a 2 hour period.THEDJXL

A baseball game takes longer than 2 hours. Just more proof that people judge sports before they know anything about them. I don't call soccer gay or "boring," because I don't know anything about it.

Ever heard of a change-up? Knuckeball? Screwball? Curve? Tim Wakefield has made a career for himself throwing under 80 mph.

You're a joke, man. At least educate yourself on the game of baseball before you argue about it.

Soccer is the most exciting sport tbh. It's watched and played by more people over the world than any other sport.

Baseball is too slow paced for me. That's what makes it boring. Whenever I go to my local AAA team's games (Durham Bulls), I usually start day dreaming in the third inning, wake up in the 5th, get some fries, go back and eat them, then day dream again to the end of the game.

Most people find it boring because its basically the same thing. Pitcher takes about 30 seconds to throw a ball, ball 1. 30 seconds, ball 2. 30 seconds, foul. 30 seconds, strike. 30 seconds, batter hits it to third-base man, batter out.

Hockey will rule over any sport :D

Football (Soccer) > Baseball.

Why is it called Football in America when it is primarily played with hands, whereas Soccer is almost exclusively played with feet (bar throw in's and Goalkeepers)?

because people don't understand the difficulty of hitting major league pitching, let alone hitting home runs. And because the strikeouts, double plays, triple plays, home runs, grand slams, inside-the-park homeruns, walk-off homeruns, hit batters, stolen bases, the hit and run, outfield assists, arguing with umpires, bench clearing brawls, hitting for the cycle, the suicide squeeze, no hitters, and perfect games are all boring things.

It's something you have to grow up with and understand well to really like. It's easy to not like it at first glance. Just the geometry of lining up the ball with where to run, the chances of someone hitting a home run, whether it will make a lot of points all at once, etc. all kind of make it somehow fun. To watch at least.
