[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"][QUOTE="MrPraline"]Rofl illusion of choice. MrPralinelol Tinfoil hat. lol yo Stevebro when am I getting my wedding invite? Soon. Although you wouldn't like an American wedding anyways, it's too much fun for you for Euro***s.
Here's a perfect example, people don't like being told they are wrong. So if you went up to this gentleman/lady and attempted to persuade him/her to vote for your preferred candidate he/she would interpret it as a personal attack on what he/she believes is true. People who want to make an informed decision would seek out information sources on their own. Very rarely will you encounter an undecided voter that will actually appreciate your input.Probably because those people your harassing know Obama sucks and don't want to hear your bs.

People often identify really closely with their political beliefs. It can cause a lot of tension among people, which is why I typically don't bring it up around most people.
I, like most people, have enough problems to deal with aside from constant political bombardment from all sides and directions, tv, mail, news, ads, we don't need foot soldiers peddeling the bull sh*t too. When people tell you "Hey, you should vote for so and so" or "well I'm voting for so and so" it's an attack on the try harders attempted at a stress free mind, doesn't matter what side your pushing, it's rude and annoying.
In all two party systems you are just voting for whichever cheek of the same arse you like better, voting in the US and UK is a sham
I am kind of unofficially campaigning for President Obama... And I so far have had negative reactions to all of my pleas for people to vote. Its might just be because I am doing it? Or do people really loathe chosing their representatives?Downtrodden-I dislike it when people call me and tell me who I should vote for. I've had 4 years to think about this, and a 2 minute phone conversation isn't going to change my mind.
So basically you guys are annoying.
Arguing about politics is not so different than the type of arguing that goes on in SW over consoles and PCs. You want to defend your choice of A over B. You don't want to be wrong.
Sometimes I think those hardcore system warriors take inanimate objects more seriously than politics.Arguing about politics is not so different than the type of arguing that goes on in SW over consoles and PCs. You want to defend your choice of A over B. You don't want to be wrong.

True. They even have those Obama VS Romney-esque threads there where they take the same multiplat on different consoles, zoom in further than your average TV even can, and argue about far fetched anti aliasing and a few better looking pixels. It's quite amusing.Arguing about politics is not so different than the type of arguing that goes on in SW over consoles and PCs. You want to defend your choice of A over B. Now you are making me feel pretty bad... Haha, I am annoying but I guess I am rude too now. I am probably going to stop campaigning for him anyways... I just hurt his chance of winning haha. I donated hundreds of dollars hopefully that is enough from me...
