Just like all other forms of racism and bigotry, it's root cause is Ignorance.

I don't hate anyone for their religious beliefs. Nor am I going to magically respect a group of people due to things their ancestors endured.

I merely form my opinions of others based on their individual personalities. Their race, religion, sexuality, gender (etc) rarely being a factor in any bit of how my opinion forms.

I think it ultimately has something to do with money and delusion. Its delusional to think that Jews are somehow different than any other person. If anything I would become a Jew before I would hate any of them. But historically, (wow it his hard to to sound bigoted and close-minded here, but I assure you its a objective hypothesis and not in anyway intended for offence. ) Israelites have proven keen in business organization, financial services, and law, (Judaism invented most of the original form of governance, so it could be said, they learned quickly from the Babylonians.)

A radical and unprovable theory would be to say that Jews are somehow closer to god or some kind of influencing intellegence. (if one believes says god exists.) Thus because we are monkeys, we get jealous of such favoritism. Thisis is all In my humble opinion.

Sadly yes. My family was discriminated against when they were in Russia (yes I'm Jewish). That's how the world works sometimes and I really don't really agree with it sometimes (no matter who the person is).

Concurrently, we should ask: why is it that prejudice towards Jews is more put under a microscope more-so then other forms of prejudice?

The extreme example of the Holocaust, along with literal centuries of societally-accepted bigotry. Also, the fact that the vast majority of the Middle East still harbors absolute hatred towards the Jews.

In short, 'cause it's in the news alot.

Because they, themselves, in a very general form, do excessive amounts of support for their own kind. Jews help jews start their doing while people in general (especially the atheist) prefer to help anyone who deserves it the most. This is not unique to jewish people, but the amount of effort put into growing money in their communities is somewhat selfish and irritating. 90% of hollywood's producers are jewish, 75% of the US banquers, 50% of the media giants, etc... It's what some call a global conspiracy against the various countries they live in. The elitists are jew-driven.

This is my beef against Jews; but that's life. I love Seinfeld, Larry David, Speilberg,(...) and all the great thinkers Jews often are. When I meet a jew, I'm not thinking about the higher echelon, but just a normal person with his/her dreams and aspirations.

Because if someone meets one particular person of a race, that they don't like, they assume that everyone of that race is exactly like that person. :roll:

I never would hate or make fun of anyone or any group of people. Unless they realy made me mad but I would'nt go after everyone of thier kind and annoy them.

As for the Jewish part, I know some and I find them to be nicer than many other people.

I think the reason people don't like them is due to what duxup said about the Scapegoats, but more than that, its the Ignorance. They don't know what they are talking about and just want to be like thier "Friends" so they do the same dumb things thier friends do.

I really don´t give 2 ****s about jews but I do find it rather curious that they always seem to be around when trouble starts, I don´t believe it´s a total coincedence, obviously I´m not speaking of every jew out there but in a more general way, they pissed off the germans a great deal, and a lot of the terrorism that is going on started with jews and ppl helping jews, the other guys didn´t like that so much.
