Christians killed TONS of jews in the past. Especially when they were associated with the plague. (sadly not completely false because they were travelling from cities to cities and got to spread the disease quite a bit)

I think the point that Sacha Baron Cohen is trying to make is poeple say racists and ignorant things. And their actions are sometimes based on it. In Russia, there was a lot of hate (for Jews) and in some parts, it's the same.

I dont hate the religion...you do know Judism isnt a race right...schoeffmaster

Judiasm is a religion, but Jewish also refers to an ethnicity like the Ashkenazi or Mizrahi. Also to answer the question. Because people are friggin stupid.
