Why do people have crushes on Cartoon girls when they were younger?

a friend of mine confessed today he had a secret crush on a cartoon character and admitted its quite common (I will say he was drunk). I'll be dead honest, I never had a crush on a cartoon girl. But if anyone here can explain that to me, please feel free.

How does that work?

Because some animated girls present qualities that men are after the most. Over size breasts is a start....

Not to mention how innocent they are most of the time....

seriously, its called a fantasy man. as far as I am concerned, its no more real( or fake I guess, which ever you prefer) then porn or something similar. its a fictional character that you have 0% chance of getting with.

I dont actually. When i waslittle i hardly watch any cartoons with girls in it, with the exeption of powerpuff girls.

I had a HUGE crush on Robin Hood (Disney version) when I was a kid.

Now that I'm older I've moved on to more brawny men like Kratos and Albert Wesker.

I wouldn't know..i've never felt any emotion for cartoon girls except dislike...so it's either i don't care or i hate them...but then again..i never really watched cartoons..

For me it started with Jessica Rabbit and just escalated from there. I blame it on an over active imagination.:D
