[QUOTE="Acemaster27"]I want to go hiking in the mountains. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to go boating on a large body of water. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to go to a national park. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to see a rain forest. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to see an NFL team in my home city. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to eat fresh seafood. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want to have diverse neighborhoods all around me. Can I do that in Oklahoma? I want my state to border another country. Can I have that in Oklahoma? I can have all of these things in my home state.slipknot0129

Yes to all.

No not yes to all! You can't do any of those in Oklahoma!

And my state is definitely not California (ew), its wayy cooler.

And yes lockedge, my state does have a rainforest. A real rainforest. With trees and rain and stuff.

I've always wanted to visit California, if only to see a San Jose Sharks home game....but there's definitely some great scenic areas in North California. One day....

Personally, I could totally live without bordering Canada. I don't see how that adds to a state's "awesome factor". :P

And you can go to oklahoma in new york city?

In your original post, you stated that you can do anything worth doing in other states in Oklahoma. I, and many others, would venture that going to New York City is worth doing and unless I'm missing something, you can't do it in Oklahoma.

Canada is awesome. Although most Americans I know just use it to get cheap booze at the Duty-Free shop at the border. Canada is cool to be bordering so long as it's not Manitoba or Saskatchewan. Those places are pretty lame, or at least Sask is. Never been to Manitoba aside from a brief trip through Winnipeg. Not a nice place.

Honestly, I hate going to Oklahoma, it's probably a psychological thing, but that place just seems to suck the life right out of me. The only reason people ever go there is for the casinos. But, usually, a place is only as fun as you make it, I never need to go around shelling out money at some place to have fun, in fact I usually have less fun when I do that.

it doesn't get as much attention as the more popular states, so when compared to new york or california etc., it seems pretty dull

That's how Pennsylvania makes me feel. Even with how awesome hilly it is in spots, it's so...grey there. All the time. Whenever I drive through there I just feel dread.

Oklahoma makes Utah seem exciting and awesome, which is pretty sad. This state is absolutely terrible unless you're an outdoors man, if that's the case I don't think you can beat this state.
