I do believe shoes are dirty. And nobody wants their home to be dirty. Right?

I only wear shoes in my house if I expect to go outside soon. Even then I try not to really walk around.
And I guess because they don't want their feet to touch the floor or something...
well, if you wear shoes in my apparment, im going to clobber you with a broom.
Unless it is slippers :3
People here don't wear shoes or socks in their homes.LonelynightI often wear socks around the house, but no shoes.
The only reason I'm wearing shoes right now is because I'm going to leave for the bus soon and I want to rush as quickly as I can considering it's freezing cold outside. I usually don't wear shoes because I can track mud, dirt, and any other things that gets stuck to my shoe in the house.

I wear shoes when I'm at college and at work, so when I get home I want to be comfortable so no show and pajama pants.
No, that just means you need to walk differently.Because if you're flat footed you have to wear shoes with insoles practically 24/7, even in summer. It's either that or messing up your lower back/knees.

You people are shoe fascists. I feel uncomfortable not wearing shoes if I'm wearing outside cloths (ie, not PJs). MochycSame here. I put my shoes on as soon as I get dressed and don't take them off until I go to bed.
I can't remember the last time I wore pants when I was in my own home let alone shoes. On a related note, I love being able to work from home in my job.why do people bother to wear anything in their homes?
if someone knocks on the door you can always throw on a robe or something before answering if you don't want to embarrass them.
of course it is a good idea to at least wear an apron when cooking:P

I never understood that either...i walk around in socks or barefoot..especially after getting home from classes...i just want to take my shoes off and relax..:x
I live in a very much no shoes house. We often need to goto a stables to muck out horses or move them across fields. You can't go wearing those boots indoors after where you just been so we gained the healthy habbit of taking them off in the utility room.
