My wife has just gone crazy... this is our second child together but I just don't understand why she just goes nuts... like knocked up the movie nuts... she hates her job and can't deal with the other people at her work... she works at a daycare and starts telling me how she is mad cause she has to watch all of the kids sleep while everyone else eats and told me she has to use the restroom and they don't even care... so all I told her to do is just go pee and get it over with they can't say anything to you cause you have to pee... so anyways she goes nuts on me and told me not to even come home... I don't know what her problem is, but in the past she kicked me out of the house the last time she was pregnant for doing nothing wrong like go to WORK! I just don't understand her...

Hormones and she's had a thing growing inside her for 9 months. You'd be a little crazy too.

There are several different hormones that are secreted during pregnancy, and often it causes a chemical imbalance in a woman's system. What her "craziness" may be might be an excess or an insufficient amount of a certain hormone in her body. 100% normal, and it would be best to just embrace her during this time. It's not her fault.

trust me, that is not the thing to do, cause she doesn't care about that at all... the woman always rule the house no matter how much money you make...

That's the worst part of the pregnancy, as the hormones are really kicking in, she hasn't had a chance to get used to it yet, and she's starting to feel uncomfortable 24/7. It usually heads up from there, which is good news.

Ummm, hello, us women have a right to go crazy with another human painfully growing inside us... But I think the number one reason is that the dude that we're having the child with doesn't understand the pain we're going through... Not physical pain, but mental pain of course. But yeah, I must admit us chicks go wrong when we expectto be fully understood, which is never going to happen. I mean, I never had a child before, thankGod, butjust the fact of having a baby growing inside me and the fact that soon I'll have another life to look after is enough to yell me head off at the man that did it to me.

I'd say to just listen to her, even if you can't stand it, and comfort her. If she starts yelling at you anyway, get in your car and take a drive and leave her alone for a few hours. While you're away, buy her something nice. It doesn't have to be expensive, just a letter or a DVD to take her mind off things. ;)

I just don't understand her...

listen to her and go out with your son for a while, come back home with something she is craving for and some flowers, she'll be ok after that. My wife is pregnant also and has gotten quite mad a few times, thank god she is due this month.

It sounds like her dislike for her job may be the real issue here. The pregnancy hormones don't help and they might make her exaggerate her feelings on top of that. But she probably hated her job before, clearly hates it now, and will likely hate it after the baby's born. She needs to deal with it calmly or find a new job. Getting crazed and working herself up aren't good for her or the baby. She should know that since she's already been pregnant. Maybe you could get her to focus on calming down and taking good care of herself.

I'm tired of the hormones excuse. Plenty of women have hormones, and only some of them act crazy. Guys got hormones too that doesn't mean we let them take control of us. Personally I'd tell her to get her act together, and STFU. Pregnancy isn't an excuse to act like that.

I'm going to have to say this is a bad idea. She may think she wants to know when she's acting crazy...but she really doesn't. Trust me on this. ;) Take your older child out for a couple of hours here and there and it will improve her mood considerably.

keep far away from the front door though buddy, pregnant woman's "doors" are totally different from non-pregnant ones. it could hurt the babby in her base though too.

Hormones? if this is your second child and you don't understand pregnancy yet... I imagine it must be fun as hell to throw up violently every day for half a pregnancy at least, then have to birth the child, and deal with the aftereffects of birth. Oh and having a baby shoving itself against your bladder is really really fun. the first few months of pregnancy are usually the hardest, due to the extreme fatigue, hormone changes, morning sickness and all that.

I can't even reply to this without saying something rude, you're blowing my mind with how shallow and ignorant you're being. If you didn't enjoy how pregnant women act, then maybe you shouldn't have knocked her up? She isn't stressed, she's pregnant. There's a difference.

well first off it was planned, and I'm not being ignorant she is just complaining about life... we both wanted another child so she shouldn't take her crap out on me all the time... I am stressed all the time too but I don't complain nearly as much as her... it is like 98% her and 2% me when it comes to b*tching

Yeah, if it was planned and you cannot handle pregnant women, maybe you shouldn't have tried for another child. But since YOU also wanted another child, all I can say is suck it up. She has to go through pain, nausea, cramping, fatigue, birth of the child, bleeding for like a month afterwards and likely breastfeeding. Which hurts. You do not have a baby growing in you. She has every right to complain, you have none.

She has every right to complain, you have none.

ok well she has no pain right now, no cramping, and no nausea... just fatigue and the birth and she doesn't bleed cause its a c section... and all she does is bump not breast feed... so she doesn't have everything to complain about like you said.. she just works 4 hours a day and hates her job... and since she is a high risk pregnancy she needs to work cause we can't afford the medical bills with my job... and yes I've tried to tell her I'd work another job or whatever but she would rather me stay home with her and the family...
