I was walkin behind this one chick and I saw part of her back, and there was one visible slash scar. After gym class today we were changing, and I saw 2 (count em) 2 emo/goths that had like rows of slashes going horizontally down their backs. Is this some sort of freaking recognition or something?

Well sometimes goths------OK even I cant answer this. But my educated guess is either they like to hurt themselves or they get off on others hurting them. Ive never met a goth or emo with slashes on their back.

Well cutting yourself isnt a part of Goth culture if anything its scene not emo. Goth is a romantic scene so its probably just a bunch of kids who dont know the history and just go by Marilyn Manson

If what the topic creator says is true and the marks are real it would be plausible to assume that they got the whipping while having sex. Case solved.

It wouldn't necessarily have anything to do with sex. They can be into just causing pain.

Those are posers, not goths, goth has nothing to do with cutting yourself, it never has. most proper goth's are happy people, and are usually alot older than 15/16 years, they are usually in theyre 20's or mid to late 30's early 40's
well theres 2 possible causes, 1 slave trade 2 kinky style although in that case it would be 'slash my whrist ya blood thirsty *****' 3 they are emo and did a 'party' cut
